Copy and paste text in text editors without formatting

When we quickly want to copy text from a Word document for example, it happens that it copies format with it. For example the text shows suddenly in bold, or de layout from our pagebuilding settings is not working anymore. Make sure you paste your text always without formatting. See example:

So how do I paste plain text?

Option 1: enable the toolbar and select the paste as text option.

Option 2: Paste the text into the text field with shortcuts. You normally paste text by (apple) command + V key combination, (windows) CTRL + V key combination, but important: to paste without formatting that comes with e.g. a word document, you always use the following key combination: (apple) SHIFT + OPTION + COMMAND + V or (windows) CTRL + SHIFT + V
