Step 17: TranslatePress

Login into your website and go to the page you want to translate. You'll have to translate each page separately, however if the editor recognizes text that's repeated on other pages, it will automatically have changed.

1. Click translate page in the menu bar on top

The language editor appears. Change your base language to the language you want to translate. For example: our base language here is Dutch (BE) but we want to translate the French (FR) translations.

2. Select French language, the site will load now the French page. Of course all texts will still appear in Dutch

3. On the left side paste your text in the "to French" bar without layout/formatting > click save > you'll see your changes on the right side

4. If you don't know how to paste text without formatting please read THIS article first

5. If you don't see any changes, or something glitches or you suddenly can't see the pen icon anymore it means the editor had some processing troubles. No worries! Just refresh your page.
