Adding products with different colors and sizes

Choose a title and set your product to variable

Choose a title and set your product to variable instead of simple.

Add your attributes: color and size

Click the attributes tab. Select and add color and size. Make sure to select the right variations ànd select the 'used for variations' option. > click save attributes

Add your variations

When clicking the select bar add variation a list of options will appear > select 'create variations from all attributes' > click go
All variations from all colors and sizes are now created. But they still don't have a stock, price, product image...

Bulk editing the price, stock etc., ...

In the same select bar we're going to select the option 'toggle manage stock', which means we want the products to have a stock. > click go
Now select another option 'stock' > click go > a pop up will appear to set a stock amount. In this case 5 which means all products with all colors and sizes will have a stock of 5. > click ok. If you want to do it for prices you can follow the same steps, but instead of stock you select 'set regular price'.

Every color variation needs one master

Lastly, from every color we need a product image of course. You select one variation, in this example we chose XS size as our master product.
Click the tab open and select an image of this color. And toggle the master option. That's it! You only have to do it ONCE for every color! So if we have 7 colors and 10 sizes, we only have to set 7 different masters with product images. > save changes > update!

Now your colors and variations should look like this!
