Add an attribute group

Go to products > attributesAdd a new attribute (This could be anything: color, size, or anything the customer chooses from. ) by typing a name > click add attribute In this case we've already got one: length. Where we want to define the length of a jewelry. We've added already some variation terms. In this case Regular chain and longer chain. You can add as many options as you like > click configure terms to add more

Go to your product

Click edit > scroll down to the tab product data > set your product to variable instead of simpleClick attributes > add custom product attribute > select length > click select all > select 'used for variations' > click save attributes

Go to the tab variations now > click add variation > go (in this case twice, because we have 2 variations: regular chain & long chain)If you click them open, you can set the price seperately for the short chain and another for the longer chain.Save changes > and again click update at the right top side of the page

You can now choose between the longer chain or the regular chain
