This article is based on a giftlist for newborn babies, but you can use it for Christmas lists, Birthday lists...
How it works for you
It's recommended to have one webpage where you explain what customers can do:
Create a birth list Buy gifts for a newborn baby Log in or register (required to create a birth list)
1. Create birth list
The customer needs to create or have an account firstNext you or the customer requests a giftlist by filling out this form
Once the customer applied, you'll receive an email for approvalGo to your website Popeye Lists > Giftlists > Edit
To approve this customers' gift list, click update or publish on the right side of your page. The owner of this list will get an email that it's approved.
1.1 Add products to your gift list
Your customer or you can now start shopping, adding products to your giftlist can be done by clicking the add to giftlist buttonIf you or they want to see an overview of all the products they've added to their list, click the birth list link (with the gift icon) in the navigation.
2. How to buy gifts from a gift list?
In order for friends & family to buy a gift from a specific list, they must search the giftlist first.This can be found on the search pageThey can search by parent name or PIN code (which was set by the parents in the first giftlist request form)
Once you found the correct giftlist, they will show you the products for that list!Now everybody can add them to their cartAt the checkout, they can add a message to the parents
